Pregnancy week 9
By the 9th week of pregnancy your baby is about 0.9" to 1.2" long (measured from baby's head to its buttocks - also called crown to rump length).
At pregnancy week 9 its possible that you have gained a few pounds in weight - your uterus continues to grow - your waistline may be getting
larger - check for pregnancy symptoms.
At this stage of pregnancy the baby's fingers are developing and they are getting longer - the ears are visible and well defined - the baby can move his or her
limbs now - the limbs themselves are longer - the hands are angled at the wrists and come together over the chest - the fingertips are
developing - even the feet can be long enough to meet in front - the neck is developng and is more robust - with the arrival of pregnancy week 9 you are probably noticing some weight gain - internally there are changes to your body as it supports your growing baby - the amount of blood in your system starts
increasing during the first trimester
and this new production of blood can cause you to be tired.
