Pregnancy week 7
At pregnancy week 7 the growing baby is still very small - but has grown unbelieveably ! - baby is now about 0.18" (from the top of
baby's head to its buttocks - also called crown to rump length) -
baby growth will be very fast this week and baby will more than double in size.
At week 7 of pregnancy its possible you have gained a few pounds in weight - you might have pregnancy symptoms -
and your tummy and breasts could be bigger - your uterus is also growing by this point.
The baby's heart has formed right and left heart chambers - air passages in the lungs are forming - eyes and nostrils are forming - feet/legs buds are now like small fins - hands/arms are now almost two distinct shapes -
intestines are forming - the appendix is detectable - the brain continues to form and the cerebral hemispheres are growing -
the pancreas is also present - this is all 5 weeks after you conceive !
You might be aware that you are pregnant after taking a pregnancy test or may suspect you are pregnant if you are having some pregnancy symptoms -
you might be having heartburn - or food cravings - you might even be turned off some foods you normally enjoy - you may be experiencing
some constipation - however its unlikely you are "showing" yet.
