pregnancy week 30 – the thirtieth week of pregnancy
June 14, 2010 by pregnancy life
Pregnancy week 30 – At this stage of pregnancy you are well and truly into your third trimester and your baby should have functioning lungs and the ability to survive outside the womb. Your baby now weighs around 3 Lbs or over 1 and a quarter kilos. The baby is about 11 inches long, as measured from the top of his or her head to his or her bottom. That is roughly one quarter of a meter long and that doesn’t include the length of baby’s legs. Adding the length of your baby’s legs makes your pre-born a sizeable 17 or 18 inches long…
As a mother to be, during pregnancy week 30, your uterus continues its path north and is now roughly 10 centimeters or 4 inches above your bellybutton.
