Pregnancy week 13
In Pregnancy week 13 baby's age is 11 weeks and the rate at which he or she is growing is very fast - baby is now
about 3" long (measured from baby's head to its buttocks - also called crown to rump length) -
the baby's weight is between 0.5 ozs to 0.7 ozs - about the size of a peach.
Your baby is more or less completely formed now - everything just gets larger from now on - its hard to imagine that
your baby is so well developed at only 11 weeks old but its true - you can hear the baby's heartbeat with an instrument
called a fetal doppler - the skeleton and bones are
developing - fingers and toes are clearly defined and the nails on little hands and feet are growing - the baby's sex is
can possibly be determined at pregnancy 13 week.
