Pregnancy week 11
In pregnancy week 11 baby is 9 weeks old and is growing at a very fast rate - baby is now between 1.75" and 2.5" long from head to rump
and weighs around 0.3 ozs. This week marks the end of the first trimester -
your uterus and baby are growing steadily - your uterus couldv be almost big enough to fill your pelvic region and you could be feeling it in
your lower abdomen although your weight hasn't changed that much.
Week 11 of pregnancy marks the beginning of the 'fetal' stage of pregnancy - the baby looks very human now - hands, arms, feet, legs and even eyelids are
recognizable - although baby could be moving you will not feel it.
You have probably noticing some small weight gain - internally there are changes to your body as it supports your growing baby - the amount of blood in your system starts
increasing and this new production of blood at this stage of pregnancy can cause you to be tired - changing hormone levels on top of feeling tired can also leave you feeling
teary and emotional.
