Pregnancy week 10
Baby is now between 1.25" and 1.7" long (measured from
baby's head to its buttocks - also called crown to rump length) -
at this stage the baby's weight is significant enough to be considered - by this stage baby weighs around
0.18 ozs.
Its more probable that by week 10 of pregnancy you are starting to show - however, you more than likely don't - its possible you have gained a few pounds in weight - your uterus continues to grow -
your waistline may be getting larger - check for pregnancy symptoms
This week marks the end of the 'embrionic' stage of pregnancy and the beginning of the 'fetal' stage - in the 'embrionic'
stage the baby is at most risk - this week is a milestone in your pregnancy - the baby looks very human now - hands, arms, feet, legs and even eyelids are
recognizable.
You are probably noticing some weight gain - internally there are changes to your body as it supports your growing baby - the amount of blood in your system starts
increasing and this new production of blood can cause you to be tired - changing hormone levels on top of feeling tired may leave you feeling teary and emotional.
